Terms of Service
These terms cover the website-building service YourOwnBusiness.Website, at yourownbusiness.website. The service is provided by Outta Work Solutions, of Roswell, Georgia, under the name YourOwnBusiness.Website ("we", "us"). By buying from us, you ("you", the business owner or someone authorized to act for the business) agree to these terms.
1. The service
We prepare a free, private preview of a website for your business using publicly available information. If you buy, we turn that preview into your finished website, launch it, and look after it under a monthly plan, as described on our sales page at the time you buy.
2. What the standard plan includes
- One landing page for your business, with sections for your services, about, reviews, gallery, frequently asked questions and contact details.
- Your reviews, ratings and trust badges, and links to your social profiles.
- Online booking connected to a calendar account of your own (for example Calendly or Google Calendar). You need your own account with that provider.
- An interactive cost calculator for your customers. Its results are estimates you define; they are not quotes.
- Standard search engine optimization (SEO) and AI search optimization (AISO) work.
- A mobile-first design.
- A domain name registered in your name, and email forwarding from an address on that domain to an inbox you already have.
- Hosting in a Cloudflare account we set up in your name with your email address.
- One review before launch, and small edits (text, photos, hours) for 30 days after launch.
Anything else (more pages, an online store, custom features, ongoing edits after the 30 days) is outside the standard plan. We will quote it first and never charge for it without your written approval.
3. Prices and payment
The one-time build fee and the monthly plan fee are shown on our sales page and at checkout, in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number. The build fee is charged at checkout. The monthly plan fee is first charged 30 days after you buy, then each month on that date until you cancel. Any applicable taxes are added at checkout.
4. The monthly plan
The monthly plan covers registering and renewing your domain (a standard-priced domain; premium domain names are quoted separately) and keeping the services we set up running and up to date. You can cancel at any time through our customer portal (linked in the footer of every page of this site) or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for; plan fees already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires. After your plan ends, your website, your Cloudflare account and your domain remain yours, and renewing the domain becomes your responsibility.
5. Satisfaction guarantee and refunds
You review your website before it goes live. If you are not satisfied at that review, tell us before you approve it, and we will refund the build fee in full and will not launch the site. Once you approve your website and it is launched, the build fee is non-refundable. Refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe.
6. What we need from you
- Accurate information about your business, and materials (logo, photos, text, reviews) that you own or have permission to use.
- To verify your email address so your Cloudflare account can be activated, and to respond to our questions within a reasonable time. Our timelines start once we have what we need.
- Responsibility for what your website says about your business (your prices, services, licenses and claims) and for your accounts with third-party providers such as your calendar.
7. Who owns what
Once you have paid in full, the content and design of your finished website, your domain and your Cloudflare account are yours. We keep the right to reuse our general templates, code, tools and know-how, but never your content, for other customers. You give us permission to use the materials you provide in order to build and maintain your website. We may show your website in our portfolio unless you tell us not to.
8. Third-party services
Your website relies on services run by other companies, including Cloudflare (hosting, DNS and domain registration), Stripe (payments) and any calendar or form provider you use. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their outages, changes or pricing.
9. Search engines and AI assistants
We do work that helps search engines and AI assistants understand your website, but no one can guarantee rankings, placement, traffic, or that any AI assistant will mention your business.
10. Content we won't build
We may decline or stop work on anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful. If we stop before launch for that reason, we refund the build fee.
11. Limits of our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you buy applies to that purchase, and we will email you before any material change to the monthly plan takes effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, unless the law requires otherwise.
